I get emails all the time asking me, “What is Virtualisation?” Sorry for the confusing spelling but that’s how it’s normally spelled in the emails.
What is Virtualisation?
Most IT people think of VMware, KVM, VirtualIron, Xen or another hypervisor when they consider virtualization. But there’s a whole world out there that doesn’t know this and there’s another world out there that spans outside virtualisation of servers and desktops, such as: virtualized storage, networks, firewalls which have all become a big part of virtualisation over the last year.
